I grew up in San Francisco, California and Tokyo, Japan. I earned a BA degree in Art with an emphasis in Printmaking from San Francisco State University. Additionally, I completed an art internship at Mother Jones Magazine, and an apprenticeship in etching and lithography from Limestone Press, a fine arts book printing press in San Francisco. I have owned two gallery/art studios. Previously, I served as the Director/Curator of The Alice T. Miner Museum in New York and the Executive Director of ArtoCade, Inc. in Trinidad. For four years, I traveled across the United States to fulfill artist residencies, mainly in National Parks. In early 2019, I moved to Trinidad after a residency at The Trinidad History Museum. Currently, I work with K-12 children, create artwork at Tabula Rasa Studio, and enjoy the beauty of Southern Colorado with my husband who is a poet, painter, and musician.
